In the fight for equality, women of color are left behind.
The wage and opportunity gap is exacerbated by the changing needs of the workforce as COVID-19 has accelerated the adoption of technology in all industries.
Workers entering the workforce are expected to keep up with these changes, and these women are already systemically excluded.
With only 4% of computing degrees conferred by Black, Latina, and Native American women, our fellowship ensures a viable future for women of color through impactful tech careers.
We seek to increase the retention of women underserved in tech to 100% by 2025 by empowering them to lead social change.

At the <wit> project, we believe that building a community focused on socially impactful endeavors will transform how young women enter and remain in tech careers.
We offer fellowship and alumni programs to construct communities of women close in proximity traveled. Our fellowship program and subsequent alumni program hone in on building functional technology skills, providing real-world non-profit projects, connecting women of color with peers & mentors, and fortifying emotional resilience.
